Drving Directions

From San Francisco (580 East):

After bridge, take 580 to Park Boulevard Exit. Turn Left onto Park Blvd (you should be heading UP the hill). Park will curve almost immediately. Take what seems to be a right turn to stay on Park. Follow Park past a small business area (look for the Radio Shack). Just past the shops and the 76 gas station, turn Right on El Centro, which will become Hanly Road. From parking lot walk down into the park—we are just past the bathrooms.

From South Bay (580 West):

Take 580 to Park Boulevard Exit. Turn immediately right onto Beaumont. Beaumont will merge into Park (right turn). Follow Park past a small business area (look for the Radio Shack). Just past the shops and the 76 gas station, turn Right on El Centro, which will become Hanly Road. From parking lot walk down into the park—we are just past the bathrooms.

From Hwy 13:

Take Hwy 13 towards Hayward and exit at Park Blvd (third exit). Turn right onto Park Avenue and head down the hill. Drive 1.5 mile to El Centro. Turn Left on El Centro, which will become Hanly Road

Wheelchair/Limited walking Accessible Instructions:

Follow directions as above, but turn on Wellington instead of El Centro. If you are coming down the hill from Hwy 13, you will turn Left onto Wellington. If you are coming up the hill from 580, you will turn right onto Wellington. Wellington is located right at the corner where Radio Shack is (coming from 13: just after the 76 gas station; coming from 580: at the end of the two blocks of shops). Limited number of parking spaces.
or
Take the Fruitvale exit and turn up Fruitvale. Left on MacArthur and immediately Right on Dimond. This is only street parking, but it is an easy way into the park.

Public Transit:

BART from the South: Get off at Fruitvale and ride bus #53 to MacArthur Blvd. It starts at Fruitvale BART so there's only one direction.  Follow walking directions from Fruitvale/MacArthur, below. Line 53 runs every 15 minutes even on a Sunday, and ride takes 15 minutes.

BART from the North: Get off at MacArthur BART, and ride the #57 bus eastbound (Eastmount direction) to Fruitvale/MacArthur. Follow walking directions below. This bus runs every 15 minutes. 20 minute ride.

From San Francisco: Ride bus NL from the Transbay Terminal (every 30 minutes, at 05 and 35 past the hour) and get off at Fruitvale/MacArthur. 35-40 minute ride depending on traffic. Follow walking directions below.

Walking directions from Fruitvale/MacArthur: Head up Fruitvale Ave, towards the hill, about 3 blocks. The park will be on your left.

It is also possible to ride bus #18, get off at Wellington/Park, and then walk down Wellington to Dimond Park. 10 minute walk.
